Much has been said and written about low fat products. That they are higher in sugar, is the main statement.

Do you buy low fat products or stick to the original ones?

I used to buy everything I could in low fat until one day i actually studied the list!

I realised that the low fat is higher in sugar and therefore cannot see the point of buying it most of the time.

There are still a few things I would buy -one is lo fat milk -or Hi Lo, but the cheeses and some of the other things I have gone back to normal.

I have been a full cream milk lover all my Iife but decided recently to try lite milk to see if there was a difference in flavour. I have to admit I can't tell the difference. The fat content of lite milk is almost half that of full cream so that is an added bonus.
No not very often...I prob should as I am carrying a few extra kilos...I buy light cheese sometimes but find it is not as nice of course!

No,I buy ordinary food!! I am careful how I cook ,so I do not worry too much about actually buying low fat foods.
I do buy low fat products, but I always check the sugar/salt level of those items first.
LOL....some have a great deal of sugar.
That's crazy?
So no we give a miss, unless it has low sugar.
I mean ''why'' do they try to trick people?

I have been caught a few times, till I read the back of the item.
Why do they try to trick people? Profit.

Never! Why compromise?
No. The 'claims' are spurious! Waste of time, effort & money!
I always buy low fat . I am very good at reading labels and I know the recommended levels of fat and sugar. There are foods that have low fat AND low sugar. You just have to read the labels per 100g serve. There is a website called calorieking and it helps to compare different brands.
Nope, never.
No we don't. My husband won't let me! He says there's no point in buying low fat products, so we stick to the original ones.
