There's a link. It came out of the debate over the teaching of creationism and intelligent design in schools in the USA. Bobby Henderson wrote a satirical letter to the Kansas State Board of Education saying that if they time in science classes to talking about Christianity they should give equal time to his made up religion. It kind of took off on the Intenet.

Haha yes - nothing wrong with a bit of belief in noodle happiness to keep you going! :D
