Julian Assange has risked life and limb to expose what he believes to be corruption and injustice via the WikiLeaks website. Meanwhile, people from around the world, including government officials, are calling for Assange’s assassination.

To some, Assange is a courageous messenger, but to others, he is a bloody nuisance.

He basically exposed the corruption that was going on. Of course the powers to be don't want the public to know what is going on. Otherwise it would be a global civil war.

We need 'watchdogs' to keep (at least try) governments and their officials accountable. The reaction by governments et al shows the extent of injustice/corruption going on. Like Greenpeace for the environment, we need Wikileaks for honesty in government

Yes. He is educating the masses on what goes on when you have too much power and greed. These governments need to be exposed for what they are, and if at all possible, they should be night to justice for their crimes.
