Do you always put on sunscreen, or sunblock, even if you are only going in the sun for a short time?
Do you prefer spray or liquid?

Even though I have had a melanoma on my face, I do not put sunscreen on all the time.
Sometimes if I know I am going in the sun for a while, I do.
I have low Vitamin D so need a bit of sun and for 15 minutes of morning sun, I generally would not bother.
No. I wear a hat if I'm going to be out for a while, otherwise I seek out the shade.
I don't use sun cream, I wear a hat and my face cream has sun block of some kind.
Sun cream is not happy with my skin :(
Same here. Hats are much better for me.
I rarely put on sunscreen unless I know I'm going to be in the sun all day. I too get low Vitamin D, and even without wearing sunscreen much I have needed a vitamin D injection two winters in a row!!!
Only this year when walking...intend to do this from now on!
I tend to react badly to most Sunscreens,so I have to say that I do not use it. I am on a medication which causes Photosensitivity,so 10 minutes is all I can tolerate at any one time in the sun. Long sleeves and a huge hat(sombreros may look silly, but they are fantastic!!) do the trick!
No, not if I'm only going to be out for a little while. I need a bit of vitamin D. I do wear it if I'm going to be out most of the day, or walking in the middle of the day (sometimes this happens as I travel by bus a lot). I've never used the spray kind.
I always sun screen because my skin burns really quickly
Not if I'm just going to be out for a bit or if I will be in relative shade. But if we go to the zoo or for a longer walk I put sunscreen on and on the kids too. I also try to make sure everyone has a hat, a shirt and sticks to the shade as much as possible.
I only ever put sunscreen on my face if I'm at the beach or on the water. I hate the greasy feeling of sunscreen on my face. I try to avoid being in the sun so it's rarely a problem.
First of all I've never put on sun screen. I however try to reduce the time of direct sun light exposure, especially when its hottest.
It changes with the radiation level each day and at various times of the the day
Between 10 am ans 4 pm it is best to take maximum precautions.
I do tend to wear sunscreen and put it on so that my kids will emulate this sun safe behavior. If it was just me I'd probably not be so diligent unless I was spending a long time in the sun. If I'm outdoors in the heat of the day I will put it on myself as hate to burn. I had a melanoma a few years back so this has made me more aware.
From now until the end of March, on sunny days I do put it on as I do a junk mail round so am outside for 3-4 hours sometimes. I have pale skin so get a band of red from just being outside for a short time.
The danger is equal even on cold cloudy days so I suggest you consider this.
It is even the same level of damage done when you are inside a building if you are in the range of natural direct light rays thought a window.
Yes I do. I use Banana Boat, its in a cream form
My daily moisturiser has an inbuilt SPF 30 sunscreen. It is not a particularly greasy product.
not always, use the liquid sunscreen
I never use any kind of sprays
IF I was to go to the beach, I'd wear mucho poss sunscreen. Good protection from sun reflection off sand, plus Sun's rays. Also wear CC long sleeved, longline shirt in BRIGHTEST pink! Love it! Could be easily seen by surf lifesavers as I bob about the ocean! Lol!
If just going into home garden, on go the sunnies, & broad-brimmed fawn Akubra hat.
Have worn hats all my life. And gloves, when horseback-riding to protect back of hands.
No. I just hate sunscreen, it seems to overheat me.
I try to be sunsafe. I am careful of the time of day I am out. If gardening I always cover up with clothes, hat, gloves and sunscreen, which I also reapply.
In summer I use a face cream with sunscreen in every morning. It probably wouldn't prottect me all day as I perspire and I think it comes off.
I do not have very fair skin, so I am lucky.
I dont actually especially if it is a short trip.Something to ponder about and start implementing perhaps.
