Do you always lose pens?

They do go missing, but we keep so many spare ones we can always find one when we need it.

I have a pen, pencil and highlighter in every bag (yes those I go out socially with); so I'm never caught short of finding a pen at any given moment. Perhaps my penchant for stationery or perhaps my overzealous and meticulous mind constantly at work or more to the truth - both.

My husband on the other hand always loses pens and is constantly getting a new pen out of my stationery cupboard; whereby we will invariably end up with 20 pens living in a bowl on our kitchen table. That is, until my OCD tendencies take over and with one clean swoop they're collected and returned to my stationery cupboard.

I do think our house is a pen magnet as we end up with such a cross section of collectibles from hotels, flights, work, gym and even cafes !

Yes, I find it difficult to keep a close tab on pens. They go missing quite often.

I have one close to my desk, and it is on a string with lots and lots of duct tape.

So it is always on hand.You also can get from a good newsagent 'bank pens'.

They are about $4.50 on a chain! ....I like to do my own, save $3.50....

I'm cheap!

Sometimes but I have so many. I usually find them at a later date.

Not anymore I don't.

I used to but now I have pen stands in several places and make sure I put them in the holder as I have some valuable pens as it is something I collect and use.

Because I'm a writer and ideas can hit at anytime, anywhere, and I keep finding pens on my leaflet rounds in the streets, I have one at the kitchen bench, one on the small table, one at the computer, etc.

No. They're kept corralled in pen holders, so don't tend to 'vamoose'. Keep a Parker 75 in my wallet. Have owned it since 1980!
