Do you prefer to have a little sugar to add to the taste of your coffee? Or would you prefer to taste the real coffee without blending it with sugar?

Love the iced coffee with lots of sugar..!!
I add to my hot chocolate(never drink coffee).
There's already sugar in every 'hot chocolate' product, EXCEPT cocoa.
I know, but I add a third of a teaspoon anyway....because I love it being sweet :)
Always. Always. Always. Especially at the moment...
I don't drink coffee, but if I didi, I would not add sugar. I don't like adding extra sugar to things. Maybe a sweetener.
'Sweeteners' not good for you. Better off with just sugar.
I think we'll have to agree to disagree on that.
I have my sugar with 2 sugars!!
I must be the odd one out on this one, I don't add sugar to my coffee. I drink lattes so they're creamy enough not to need to be sweetened.
Hi Sarah, NO my husband & I have never added sugar to our latte's either!
That's the only coffee we drink.
Two coffees and two sugars, but I only drink when I 'have' to, i.e. very rarely.
I cannot drink coffee without sugar.
Just a bit of sugar. I think coffee is meant to be drunk with sugar.
I'm not allowed coffee very often, only when we have trees to chop down as I'm intolerant to it. It's like giving me speed.
But when i am allowed a coffee I like a freshly ground organic, fairtrade highly spiced coffee with some nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and allspice with a generous helping of soft brown sugar!
NOW will someone get me down off this roof please?
No I don't, I am sweet enough!
Seriously, I found sugar to be addictive, starting at half a teaspoon, progressing to a teaspoon, and then found I was having two teaspoons. This was in my teens, and I quickly worked out that this was not a good thing. Since then I have not taken sugar in my coffee. This cuts down not only my sugar consumption but my coffee consumption so I see that as a win-win situation.
Don't know why people need sugar it ruins the taste of the coffee. Why not just have a cup of milk an sugar
You've obviously ever had bitter coffee.
I add the tiniest amount of sugar to my coffee. I don't want to change the taste much, I just find that a little sugar takes the bite out of it and calms down the acids. I have no proof that it actually does anything to the acids but I think it does, or at least it does so for me.
I don't drink coffee or tea but if I did I assume I would add sugar
A level tspn sugar in either tea or coffee. That's enough for a lovely taste, for me!
I have percolated coffee or a pod coffee at home, (I have 2 different pod coffee machines), & I have a coffee every single morning at home, after my breakfast, then when I’m out for the day, I usually have another coffee, but I have never had sugar in my coffee nor in my afternoon tea.
No I don't add sugar. Like Sarah I drink lattes and find them creamy enough without the addition of sugar.
I like my coffee black. No cream and no sugar.
I don'tlike anything sweet in my coffee. I drink it neat or sometimes when out I have a capuchino but definitely no sugar.
Yes, I add lots of sugar in coffee, I can't have it without sugar.
