I suffer from the symptom of [ S.A.D. ]

It is a real Disorder, and it is most unpleasant to say the least.
Just about everything in my house is Light and bright...From white furniture, to white walls and curtains, and very light carpet.

White - White - White!......I can not be around any dark colours, and Grey days are dreadful for me.Makes me think the world is closing in and I just pray for Sunshine.

When the Sun comes along, I am a whole different person.
Being born in England, it was the norm of grey days, and being a person who loves colours and pictures, the visual grey 'does my head in big time'.

On the other hand I do love a good storm....just now and then, at night.
Oh! jonaj, I can understand what you mean! A few grey days are ok, BUT when it goes on for weeks at a time, nope, need things around me that are B R I G H T!
I can 'relate' to the Sun worshippers in ancient/medieval times!

A day where the sky is grey does not depress me. Sometimes these are good days for taking photos (if it isn't raining) as there are no shadows and the sun isn't glaring which can spoil a shot. However, if I lived somewhere that had numerous grey days in a row or even weeks of dull weather I think it would depress me.
It makes me feel like rain is coming so I need to go inside and curl up with a good book or watch my favourite tv show.

Occasionally, but in general, I preferit tobright sun, which hurtsmy eyes and can make me feel sick if too hot.
Depends how long I've been looking at them for! In the middle of the wet season when it's been raining for 6 weeks straight I start to get a bit depressed. But as a general rule I don't mind grey skies.
No, gray skies do not worry me apart from the fact that I get annoyed if I cannot take my dogs for their morning walk.

However while in England once in the middle of summer, for an extended stay, I did find it annoying that there was always a grey sky and not much sun.

Not really. Some grey days are quite fun. It's 'grey' people whom I find depressing.
Yes, especially if grey skies last more than one day. But definitely happier when the sun shines, most uplifting.
Yes, fortunately in Queensland we don't get many grey skies. Definitely feel more "alive" when the sun is shining. Might be something to do with being brought up in the UK with their abysmal winters.
Sometimes. I don't mind the rain and clouds on some days - in fact, I sometimes welcome them. On others, however, they can make me feel down in the dumps.

Yes sadly they do, there is nothing nicer than blue skies and the warmth of the summer sun.
We are spoilt by living in a wonderful part of this fantastic country Queensland).

Yes I would say that I feel down on a dreary dull day, and when it is sunny it is something that just makes you feel warm and good inside.
