bottled water

Many bottles of water state that spring water was used. Do you think companies selling these products really use spring water in their bottled water?

If the bottle says where their spring water comes from then yes, otherwise, probably not. Highland Spring, for example, say that they get their water from the Ochil Hills in Scotland.

If the label says it is spring water, then I would say yes. I don't specifically look for it, I usually grab what they have in the shop, but only if I am out and about. I don't buy it to have at home.
I did a search once, and it was found only one company was the best for you.
That the properties in that water were spot on.
The cheaper brands fell short badly.
You can also have a look there is a video on You Tube about bottled water.
Made me sit up and think, after watching.
At the end of the day...all tap water you drink should go through a filter, seriously.
Hard to say. When I am feeling thirsty - it is not an issue.
I doubt it. Anyway, consumers can't tell the difference, so I don't think it matters.

I don't think so, not unless they specify where the spring is.
I've heard of cases where companies have been in trouble for just using tap water and calling it spring water. To be honest I don't really care since I don't drink bottled water anyway. It's a huge waste of resources and I don't like drinking out of plastic. I carry a stainless steel water bottle with me, filled from home.
I have to say that I'm very suspicious of bottled water companies. And with a brand name like 'naive', I mean, 'Evian', how could you not?

If they're lying, they can be sued. It's not worth it to Companies' to mis-label their products.

My fave is 'Select' Sparkling Mineral Water. Tastes great, especially when really cold!
Do buy Spring Water as a change, now & again. Enjoy its' taste, too!
