I have virtually become a tea-totaller, so I have not had any alcohol over the holidays.
And I had nothing on New Years Eve either -alcohol puts me to sleep and I hate that feeling of being rather out of control, so prefer just not to drink.
I am no longer able to have even a tiny tot of alcohol any more due to the medication I require. Even in the past,I would not drink large amounts of alcohol, and I would only drink something if I actually LIKED it..I am definitely not one to drink simply to 'fit in'!!
No
because I have a ''Party Pooper Doctor''!
I can only drink a glass a day and...yes...I had a glass a day over the festive season!
I used to have a festive drink but since going through menopause I find I have no tolerance for alcohol. I have all but given it up.
I drank some of my fancy elderflower sparkling wine on Christmas day - sometimes I mixed it with the nice, non alcoholic punch I made. I've had a few other nights where I've had a few glasses of wine. I have always liked a drink, but have scaled back since having kids - obviously breastfeeding makes it hard to have more than a couple!
the kids might sleep a lot!
When I was breastfeeding,my specialist and my doctor both said that a small glass of wine with my evening meal would actually be good for milk production!!! I was necer a big drinker, but I did take their advice just in the beginning while I worked out a good feeding routine, and my son certainly thrived!! In fact I could have provided enough milk for quintuplets!!!!! I did not do it for more than a few weeks though!!! After all,one baby only needs enough milk for one baby!!!
I find alcohol has the reverse effect on my supply unfortunately. Hence the reason I only stick to a little. But, yes, I do find that Mr 18 months does tend to sleep better after I've had a wine LOL
A little bit. I had a mud shake over a couple of nights. Not too big on alcohol.
I don't drink at all anymore. I stopped drinking in 2007. I just got bored of drinking. I would never consider having a drink and I don't miss it at all. The only thing that bothers me is the 50 questions I get when people realise I am drinking a non-alcoholic beverage.
I think I had about a half glass of wine. Certainly not more.
I had half a can of CC and Dry. I'm not normally a big drinker but would usually have a drink every couple of nights over Christmas. This year, I didn't feel like drinking alcohol.
Yes, I have some, but very little. I get invited out to quite a few parties and bbqs, so sometimes I have a small glass.. November and December are busy times, but don't drink much for the rest of the year !!!
Yes, not a lot but enough to be sociable.
Cognac, Bacardi, beer and liqueurs like Grand Marnier.

Unfortunately I was on strong pain killers over this period but I'm making up for it now🍷
Usually in the evenings, I'll drink a small G&T. On Christmas Day I'll drink 1 glass of Champagne for lunch or dinner, whichever 1 is going to be our main meal for the day. Late on NY'sE I'll have a Champagne while watching he fireworks!
