Could you resist trying some of this at a buffet?

I very much doubt that I could resist this after a buffet meal.
There is nearly always room for dessert though have to say as I age, I can eat slightly less -I used to be able to eat 3 courses without a problem but nowadays it is only ever two and sometimes only one.
However at a buffet I pig out and definitely could not walk past this without trying it.
I must be very unusual as...I could easily avoid having this if there was something like cheesecake as well. Better still just some exotic cheeses and crackers (you prob think I am 'crackers' ha ha)
That would be difficult to resist!
As long as there were fresh strawberries and other nicely cut fruits,I would most likely give it a go. I am a very small eater,so maybe this would have to BE the meal, not something to have AFTER it!!!!
It would depend what else was on offer - this wouldn't be on the top of my favourite desert list
Oh my gosh NO! Chocolate is my ultimate weakness. I can see myself getting stuffed like a chicken during Thanksgiving, but if there's a chocolate fountain *anywhere* near me, I will go for it!
I could resist it. I love chocolate but it has to be dark not milk and it also has to be very high quality - the result of living in Belgium for three years! I would be highly suspicious as to whether a chocolate fountain like this would be high quality or just bog standard.
I would rather wait to get home and use my own chocolate fondue set :)
Doesn't do anything for me.
I always hated the look of a chocolate fountain.
Well and truly over the top!
I love chocolate, but not in this kind of display.
I love chocolate but it doesn't appeal to me like this. It looks a little too sweet and sickly. If I was going to have chocalte as a dessert I would prefer a nice cool and fluffy chocolate mouse.
Never seen one of these, except in a Darrell Lea shop window!
Would depend on food hygiene conditions where 'fountain' was, before I took a 'sample' firstly. Then make final decision re: indulging!
Yes, quite easily. I am not a chocolate lover.
I tried this once at a high tea at the Windsor Hotel. It was very nice, but there were other desserts I fancied more, so yes I could resist it.
Vicar of Dibley . . "I'M GOING IN" . . . . before diabetes I would probably want to do exactly what she did in that episode. Looking at that pic . . I can almost taste it. Must. Be. Strong.
I wouldn't be able to try it as I have an allergy to chocolate but I do love the aroma so would have to get near to it
No thank you. They always seem to be made from milk chocolate, & I only like dark chocolate. As Lluki mentioned, there are far more buffet desserts I'd rather eat, as I've always loved trying a little bit of everything.
I was at a lunch buffet Dec '16. There were 3 chocolate flavours of the chocolate
fountains, but I still didn't want any. I just had a taste of every other dessert there, & then next Dec I'll just have a taste of the ones I liked the best.
