Pig Latin is a language game in which English words are modified to conceal their meaning.
Translating an English word into Pig Latin involves placing the first consonant or consonant cluster of the word at the end of the word, then suffixing the word with an 'ay'.
For example, mug yields 'ugmay', and big yields 'igbay'.
Can you speak or understand Pig Latin?

#Silly
#Fun Yep! My best friend and I thought it was a fabulous way to swear without our parents knowing.
My best friend and I used the deaf alphabet, no swearing, but used it in church meetings. One day she spelled Gus instead of Guess, we lost the plot, went hysterical with laughter and got into trouble. I still crack up with laughter when I remember that day.
Thank you for the explanation, Vee.
I did not know any of this, and NO I cannot speak or understand Pig Latin.
I wonder why it is called that though?
You're welcome, Finy. So useful to know too, LOL. Now that's a good question - I wonder.
