Can you see lots of stars where you live?

From the front of the house there are too many lights, but from the back garden you can see lots of stars.

Definitely too much light where we are. As you travel round the country, you can see an orange haze over cities at night from all the light pollution. Disgraceful.
However, we are close to the edge of our town so can escape into the countryside quite quickly. Because Northumberland is fairly sparsely populated (by English standards!) there are patches where the night is velvety black and the stars can be seen very clearly.

I grew up in Sydney and when I was a kid you could see the stars but as Sydney grew the stars vanished. Then we moved to a country town and I can see all the stars again, I love star gazing!

If it's a clear night, yes. I'm lucky enough to live in a rural area so we get to see a lot of stars.

Where I am living now I can see the stars quite easily. There is little or no interference from artificial light sources.
