Best zombie movie?

I haven't watched any zombie movies before only television shows. If tv shows were to be included -definitely walking dead.

I am Legend, starring Will Smith, has to be one of the best zombie movies. Will portrayed great emotions as the last free man looking for a cure to the zombie disease.

I am Legend with Will Smith and the Dawn of the Dead movies are the best to date. Few zombie movies truly and accurately show the desperateness that would be expressed during an apocalyptic event, never mind if it involved the reanimation of the dead.
