Best way to poach eggs?

I love poached eggs, but have never managed to get them quite right. They are usually undercooked or overcooked or a complete disaster. Do you know a fail proof way to cook poached eggs?

My sister is the master at making poached eggs. Why not have a look at her recipe. Perfect Poached Egg
Adding vinegar and salt and not let the water boil over.
I thoroughly agree. That tip was given to me by a Home Ec teacher back in 1959 and it has never failed me.
