Best type of soap?

I used Dove bar soap s well because it is meant to moisturise your skin rather than leave it dry. I think bar and liquid soaps are as equally effective if you use them correctly, but I think with liquid soaps it is easier to clean all areas, such as getting in between the fingers when washing your hands. I always think the inclusion of shea butter is an indication of a good body soap, as well as ones with added vitamins and minerals.

For hand soaps, I like liquids. For body soaps, I use Dove, because it doesn't dry out my skin. I have some goat's milk soap too, which is apparently good, but I haven't got round to trying it yet.

I use products from the QV range. I find they don't dry out my skin and don't contain too many nasties. I also like the brand Original Source. I don't know much about where their ingredients are sourced from but they don't test on animals and their products smell delicious!

My wife and I have been using the foaming hand soaps from Bath and Body Works for a couple of years now. They are gentle on the hands, anti-bacterial and they are constantly changing up their line of scents, so they never get boring. However they are heavily perfumed, so if you are sensitive to perfumy smells, then you may want to skip on these.
