Traveling is one of the most exciting experiences in a person's life. People travel for different reasons: to visit family, to attend events, for business reasons, for sightseeing.
What is your best or dream travel destination and why?

#Travel Bali is a great family travel destination - relaxing on beaches, but they also have a very interesting and generous spiritual culture, especially around the arty/yoga/eco-friendly hub of Ubud.
We were in Ubud for 6 days last month, Lucy! We only went there to try & find the home stay I'd stayed at with my daughters while back packing around Bali in Jan' '95. 6 days was too long this time! We did find the place, sort of! it is now behind
a couple of temples, a restaurant & a massage room. It's 1 street back from Monkey Forest Road! To many tourists there now. The only reason we'd return next time would be to have a meal at the restaurant with my name! It was there in '95, & is still there now! I forgot all about doing that, while we were there, for those 6 days last month! Ummm! Next time next year, I hope it will be, we'll stay down at Canggu, which is a lot quieter!
For me it is PARIS, France, I fell in love with the place in July '68, when my parents took me there for 10 weeks. When they returned 2 years later then a couple of years after that, I flew over to visit them again. I've been there 5 times now. NYC is another place I love. I've been there twice with my mother & in '09, with my husband for 3 weeks, when we were offered an apartment with a friends daughter, who luckily for us, was working there at the time. She was on the 14th (I think) floor, over looking the Chrysler building. Just beautiful! In '03, we started cruising. We'd pick up cruises from the USA, but now, we'd rather do simple Sydney (Au) or Melbourne (Au) returns. For us it is a now a lot easier just by our local bus, & a train to Circular Quay! So much easier, than all that flying, in & out of airports!
