Best sports movie?

There is nothing like a sports movie to channel into your feelings, and at some point make you cry in that cathartic way, or manipulate your emotions. They have the added bonus of usually bringing you to the edge of your seat, even if you know the outcome.

I am a sucker for a good sports movie. I really enjoyed Invictus but for a laugh I will always watch Cool Runnings.

The Cutting Edge was a great sports movie staring DB Sweeney and Moira Kelly. It is about two athletes, a hockey player and a figure skater, who miss the Calgary Olympics due to injuries and how they team up to make it to the next Olympics. It's a captivating story about dedication, attitude and love.

Seabiscuit was superb. Wonderful performances from Maguire, Bridges and Cooper.
Field of Dreams, although technically it isn't really a "sports movie".

I'd count Field of Dreams as a sports movie - it has sports players in it (albeit fictionalised) and they play baseball.
