Best places to go swimming with dolphins?

Write because you want to, not because you have to.

I recently went on a cruise and had the fine opportunity of swimming with dolphins. They are absolutely gorgeous creatures and swimming alongside them was an utter delight.

Do you have any spots where it is safe/supervised to swim with dolphins? Are there any organizations that support dolphin-swimming?

There are a few places around Australia where you can swim with dolphins. These include the Port Stephens area, north of Newcastle in New South Wales where a group called Dolphin Swim operates ( http://www.dolphinswimaustralia.com.au/ ) and Polperro Dolphin Swims ( http://www.polperro.com.au/ ) in Port Phillip Bay, Victoria. In Western Australia, Wild Encounters in Rockingham (http://www.rockinghamwildencounters.com.au/) and the Dolphin Discovery Centre Dolphin Swim Tour in Bunbury (http://www.westernaustralia.com/en/Pages/Tour.aspx?n=Dolphin_Discovery_Centre_Dolphin_Swim_Tour&pid=9063403 ) are meant to be good.
Not sure if it is swimming, however Monkey Mia would be a great stop for a dolphin experience.
You can actually swim with them in Rockingham, I think it is called Rockingham Wild Adventures (or similar), and also in Bunbury, Western Australia.
Monkey Mia is a place where you can see the dolphins however you cannot swim with them there.
However, this all depends on whether they find the dolphins on the day you go out, so it is probably a big "however".
