Our planet is an amazing place, it's impossible to see every it has to offer. What is the most amazing landscape you have ever seen? Was it expansive prairie farmland, or rocky mountain peaks? Maybe it was thick jungle or sandy desert. Include pictures of you can, let's share a little of the world!
I think every natural landscape has it's own special beauty. Here in Western Australia, there are some magnificent and vast wilderness areas in the far north, such as the Pilbara and Kimberley regions. Both are famous for their rugged and spectacular gorges (canyons) and their brilliant colours...a hiker's and photographer's paradise!
I've traveled most of Canada but not much beyond. My favourite landscapes so far has been along the Icefield Parkway between Banff and Jasper town sites. It's an amazing drive and touted as one of the top drives in Canada.
Looking out over the mountain tops from Machu Picchu. But there are so many wonderful places in the world from the tropics to the Antarctic/Arctic all are spectacular.
I think the landscape of Mt. Rainier in Seattle is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, especially in winter. It is hard to choose a favourite as there are so many beautiful landscapes in the world.
South Island of Nz, the big sky country around Broken Hill, but then friends have just sent photos of the white buildings, blue roofs in Greece, so much beauty .... we just have to look for it. (oh and have enough $ to visit)
