Best chocolate cake recipe?

I don't really like to bake cakes. It's a lot of work for something which may or may not turn out the way you had wanted it. I love my chocolate cake slice that I can buy with my coffee when I am out and about. It's one small slice, as opposed to a whole cake which I would end up eating if I did bake it at home.

I'm loving the idea of mug cakes at the moment - individual cakes that you make in a mug and cook in a microwave. They take about 5 minutes all up, and taste pretty good if you need a quick cake fix. I tried my first one the other day, a quick chocolate cake, but it would have tasted better with chocolate chips, for sure. More experiments await :)

I like the cake mix that you can get at any supermarket. Recently tried the one at Coles. Cake was quite tasty. However I wouldn't recommend their icing recipe. Anyways I always skip the cream in a cake. So this one works for me.
