Yes, I obsess about several things and I DO bite round my nails though looking at this dreadful picture, I MUST stop immediately.

I obsess rather easily -I play games that I am obsessed to, I used to obsess about collecting antiques and there are more....

Well I do get a tad that way about clean surfaces.
I have to have my driveway Very Clean, and free from mould and dark patches, so I use a bleach wash.I hose it down hours later.
Same in the house, I keep things clean, but I am worst outside.
If I see someones driveway in need of help....I think how much I would enjoy! cleaning it!

no, you dont need a life, you need to hop on a plane and come to Perth -I had a guy lined up to do the drive, the backyard, and the grout inside and everyone said I was Crazy to spend money on that!! so hop on a plane, and I have a job for you -pays more than your air fare.....

You know I have never been to Perth, I may fall in love with the place!
Pity we are so far away, I would do it all for nothing, it helps with my obsessive
cleaning, if I do some :) lol.

Do you also need someone to weed the garden? But I would have to b ring my dogs with me as I cannot live without them!!

It may sound weird, but I obsess over earning stats. I really want to move towards a career where I make a living doing things that I love, particularly writing, and taking photos while mixing in TV, video games and traveling. So I have spreadsheets that track my daily earnings. As an example, for hubgarden I have a spreadsheet that tracks my daily article earnings, my question earnings, my daily submissions, word count, views for each hub that I'm interested in and more. I check my earnings three or four times a day and update the rest of the spreadsheet twice daily (once in the morning and once in the late evening). My wife and I also sell stock photos online. I have a similar spreadsheet for all the websites we sell with which I also check twice daily. I tend to obsess over these number and constantly work towards improving my monthly earnings.

damien -I used to do that with TOTAL VIEWS -kept a list every hour or so to see if one day was more hits than the next -eventually after pages and pages, I thought -"what is the point of this" -absolutely nothing! there were no money rewards like you are doing, so I stopped -though I did also put the total money in each time.
Yours I can also relate to as I have to put everything I spend on MYOB -for what reason I do not know -used to do it when I had a business but needed it then. Now i do not check what I spend but write down everything, balance my Amex etc statements and it is all recorded =once again for no reason! Have tried to stop but after 3 months I just HAD to do all the work again!

If I am at all obsessive about anything,it would have to be making certain that my dogs have all that they need!! I would go without ,rather than allow my beloved dogs to do so!!

Oh!!! There IS something else I am obsessive about,and that is Common Courtesy! It is so important to show others the basics such as honesty,kindness,respect and just good old plain being nice to each other!!!

I am getting obsessive about not touching anything in public toilets, not even the taps which I believe are dirtier than the toilet seats! Won't touch any doorhandles with my fingers in these places. You only have to think of the millions of touches they have had and don't think they get cleaned

That photo is horrendous! I used to sit next to a kid in year 4 who did this to his nails. It must hurt so much!?

My wife thinks that I'm beginning to be obsessive about racking up my hubgarden stats. There might be some truth to that.

Yes, in short, EVERYTHING!
Must get to the 'top' in ANYTHING I do!
Have done so in so many 'fields', I've lost count; academically, sport & work.
Family life's good, too. Love all my hobbies', & do the best I can with these, too!

I am certainly Obsessive about the Truth. It is something these days that is totally ignored. Try watching the News and you will understand. Also, just listen to the Lies that come out of Canberra EVERY day. I really do believe Morality is a thing of the past.

Well, the only 1 I can think of, right now, is that my watches & all my bracelets have to match my cotton floral dresses! I put the bracelets into large sandwich bags in their colours, so I can find them quickly to wear with the dress I'll be wearing next.
