I have done it now for a few years, and I only go to trusted sites.
I use my Visa-Debit card.

Sure saves time and a great deal of energy, as you get a tad older.....we just bought a washer on line(knew which one we wanted). It came in a van next day!

Winning :)
I have been happy right from the start to do this and have been buying online for many, many years now!
I have one card with American Express and they are so much better to deal with than a bank -If every merchant accepted their card, I would not even bother with a bank credit card.

I have not had a problem online in all the years I have been buying goods and services on the Internet.

I used to be quite concerned about this,so I got myself a Visa DEBIT card which required me to actually put funds from my other account into it so it could be used the same way as a credit card. This solved all my problems when buying online!! I do not buy masses of items online, but it is very good to know that I am able to pay for anything which may happen to tempt me!!
I do exactly the same thing, Jules.

Although I am nervous to a certain extent, it does not stop me buying online. I would miss out on too many things otherwise.
Yes I'm happy to provide my credit card details as long as it's a website I know. I shop a lot online and book flights and hotel accommodation.

Ironically I don't trust online banking, however, I do purchase items via GROUPON online. I used to be very wary, however, have been buying things via GROUPON over the last few years. I am a shiftworker and mostly don't have to energy to wander around the shopping centres looking for the best products to buy. I have bought some excellent gifts via GROUPON and they have always been delivered in a timely manner.
i do not buy anything online, although I do pay my household bills online.

Never will I use a cc but will use a debit cards so that I can control the amounts exposed to risk.
I will also never again buy charity raffle tickets after discovering they had been using auto debit on me for years.
How they tricked me was they would ring me and get agreement to debit 1 small amount and auto debit more tickets. When I did a quick glance on the statement I would see the charity and not check volume or dates, Lazy I know but who expects to be scammed by a charity.
It was not until I cancelled the card that the scam turned up. When I protested the person described me as an old person with a bad memory. I decided to never again allow any transactions on my cc over the phone or net.
1 year later the same charity contacted me to say that they needed my cc number as the direct debit was not working. They simply where trying the same scam again but this time I knew 100 percent it was an attempt to pull the same confidence trick. Dont trust anyone.
Yes. I am happy to do so. I was a bit nervous when I first started buying online. I find if you buy from a reputable site, there is greater security, and less likely for problems to occur. Still, if people want to hack into any site, they will do so, despite all the security .
No, especially when the person you deal with is required to give no details about themselves so if something does happen you have no one to refer to about the details of your Card number theft.

I hate physical shopping so buy a lot of items for my family particularly, on line. This saves me heaps of time and I shop in comfort.
Am a recent 'convert' to online shopping.
Have enjoyed what I've bought, so far.
I'm never happy about it but it has to be done sometimes. I like to use Paypal.

I regularly purchase items online using my credit card from trusted and secure websites. (when you see the padlock symbol in the web browser)

For eBay I use PayPal!

I've never bought anything on line.
