Are you fascinated by other cultures?

I have never traveled outside of Australia, but I am extremely interested in other cultures. Last year my family hosted a Japanese exchange student for 2 weeks. It was a wonderful experience to see how different other ways of life are.

I have travelled, and I have seen a lot...I find other Countries
a wonderful way to learn.
I'm not big on trying other foods, unless I feel I will like it.
Our world is big, and what it has to offer makes for interesting
life experiences.Everyone who can, should travel.You don't quite
come back the same. :)

Absolutey! Í love travelling and making new friends. I travel quite regularly to India to stay at different ashrams, but also have visited Cambodia and Bali which I loved. Unfortunately my visits there were pretty short there so I'm hoping to return for a longer time and learn more.

Fascinated I definitely am. I try to learn more about different cultures, not only by traveling and trying different foods, but by visiting local markets and festivals as well, which give a good "taste" of another culture.

Definitely, I have learnt a few languages over the years and that is a fantastic way to discover new cultures. Then you have to go and immerse yourself in that culture and have many wonderful experiences along the way.

Absolutely! Both in Australia and beyond it's borders there are many wonderful cultures to explore. We are lucky to have such a melting pot here so that even those who do not travel can experience the wonders of the world.

Yes. Yes. Only Ancient Cultures, not modern ones.

Have toured UK, Sthn Ireland, Sthn Spain, Austria, Sthn Greece, Egypt, Eastern USA,& Canada, Mexico City & environs, various SE Asian countries.

Love trying foods in different countries. Had THE best Japanese meal in Mexico! Fresh dates, brought from desert that morning, in Cairo. Superb food in all parts of Austria, especially Wiener Schnitzel, potato, & their big noodles! Beautifully fresh seafood, in Ireland. Excellent meals in USA, & Canada.

Of course, absorbed much ancient history in many of these countries', that just keeps my brain active, years' after! Lol!

I've travelled over Europe and Asia and New Zealand and love learning about their history. I also am interested in the Mayan era and am cruising Europe later this year to extend my knowledge.
