No I am generally not scared, as I live with my two dogs who bark at absolutely anything.

I do have an alarm system which I also turn on at night and this alarms the perimeter, however without these two I would probably be scared.

I have always had dogs and plan to go on doing so.

I don't like sleeping in the house alone. I don't sleep very well when I have to be in the house alone

We have a tiny home, so it's not a problem at all.
When my son is away for a week at a time, due to work it's really peaceful! :)
I live in a mobile home park, and we have people close to us, so we always have someone around.I love it.
I never get scared now.
Well I am sooo used to it as have been on my own for a lot of my life. Just lock up well and hope for the best. I live in a villa so others are close, both neighbours have doge....my cat Champs would prob scratch anyone that tried to get me...to death ha ha!

No. That's when I usually get out a horror DVD as my husband doesn't like them!
Yes, I can get a bit creeped out if I'm on my own at night. Thankfully it doesn't happen very often.
I do sometimes. I have lived alone a lot though. Sometimes it's my own thoughts that scare me .

No, never been so. Have always had 'furry friends' with me, who were/are very alert!
Also, security grilles on windows' & doors'...........
I had never lived alone in my entire life until three years ago when my gorgeous husband died. I am never frightened though being alone, particularly at night, perhaps because I live in an extremely safe suburb. In fact I have a 6 km daily walking regime, and most of my walking is done after 5.30.p.m. when it is starting to get a bit cooler here in Brisbane. I have never once felt afraid or threatened whilst out walking.
I have dogs, always have had, so it's hard to be frightened with dogs around. I feel pretty confident they would protect me as they are total love bugs and would be shocked into action by violence towards mother.

I'm not scared at all. I enjoy the solitude and guess I became used to it when my husband was on shift work many years ago. I do hear all sounds as I'm a light sleeper but nod off again if I'm in bed.
