Are you always on time?

Time (19)      Punctual (1)      Lateness (1)

One of my pet hates is being kept waiting but almost as annoying are those people who turn up at your place early!

Being on time means - being ON time!

Are you a punctual person or are you guilty of one of the above behaviors?

It all depends. Sometimes I am early, sometimes I am on time, and at other times I am late. Keep them guessing.

I try to be, as much as possible and especially make sure I am if someone else is put out if I'm late. However, if it's not for work or for meeting a friend I tend not to be too fanatical...I hate being too rigid with any area of my life. My husband gets a bit fanatical about punctuality and that can be irritating for me.
I make it a point to be, otherwise I have a mini panic attack if I run late by even a couple of minutes.
I am almost always on time if not ahead of time. However, when my husband is also involved, then we are almost always running late. I don't like the idea that people are late because of my own tardiness.
Sadly I have become later and later as time go's by.
My idea of time is off by 10-30 mins.
Quite shocking!

If it was a wedding or Funeral quite different...or Travelling...I'm more too early.

I have become apathetic about time.
Yes, I have an internal clock that helps me get on time most of the time. There are times when I am late, of course, but they are very rare. I don't like when the others are late, so I try to avoid being late myself
I used to be constantly late, now I'm almost always on time. I am still 5 minutes behind on occasion but those occasions are now rare.
I'm mostly on time but unfortunately I've always been with people who are always late. On very rare occasions I've been late. For travel I'm always early and then the wait makes me anxious.
Yes, I don't like to let people wait and wonder, and hope that others do the same or me.

I am always on time, although my partner is never on time. Which means we're sometimes on time and sometimes late.
I am either on time or a bit early...hardly ever late. My husband is quite adamant on not being late for anything in life!
Yes pretty much. If I make a commitment to you whether it be for business or pleasure I will honour it. If I think there is a likelihood I will not be able to meet that commitment I will let you know in advance. It is my way of demonstrating to you that you are important to me and that I respect you.
Yes, I am a stickler for being on time, and get really stressed if I am a minute late.

Probably comes from my Germanic background -my father used to say in the morning "I will be home at 5.37 pm and he would walk in the door at 5.37!

Quite bizarre. I must have that on time gene also as I hate being late.

Wow! That's very disciplined!
Actually I am very disciplined -never would have used that word though -I have been told I have a lot of "rules" and put this down to my German inheritance also!!

And then some!
I HATE being late! Stresses me out to the max & get really p'd off if I've left plenty of time & something beyond my control, makes me late! I know it's NOT my fault, but the very thought of being late, for me, is the stuff of my nightmares!
Comes from having to catch planes, all my life, I suppose! Have never missed one, but came very close once. Coming from training course in Sydney, traffic was horrendous. Got to air Terminal. thru security, ran full speed straight to gate lounge, speedily checked through & on aircraft. Door was slammed shut. I sat there for 20mins, coughing, & puffing. FA brought me water with lemon to sip. She was worried I'd have a 'fit' from all the coughing. My throat was sooooo dry! Anyway, got home safely & on time, having had multiple glasses of water!
It was not my fault, but I still felt really annoyed!
