I am definitely now a homebody.

For many, many years I was a traveller, and I used to go to Europe every year and also somewhere else in a year.

However I have now not been away for some 2 or even coming up to 3 years -have done a complete turn about in my situation, and am content staying home.

Very odd....so different to how I WAS.

I used to do a lot of travelling, by myself mostly, and revelled in it. Nowadays I'm happy to be a homebody though we have tried to make the most of living in the continental part of Europe, as opposed to a small island off the coast, by driving to lots of different places for short holidays. So I guess I'm still a traveller but not as enthusiastic!
I think I am a little bit of both

Use to travel.

Now....I don't feel safe, to be totally honest.
The world is a far different place, and there are every kind of con's out there.
I'm a ''homebody'', for sure now.
wow Jonaj -your mobile home is sure big!

People think I'm weird for not wanting to travel and see places, but to me it is the ultimate hell. I'm very much a homebody. I could stay in the house for weeks and not have a problem with it.
I used to travel and as a young person....a lot (flight attendant with cheap fares), however whether it is now age or lack of funds!....I don'tj know, and really don't have a great urge to do so...

I love to travel but there really is no place like home!
It really depends on my mood. More of a homebody, but I do like getting away.

I love to travel, but I don't mind staying home. If I had the choice and money, I would love to keep traveling.
Traveler, had the travel bug for the past 10 or more years. Love seeing new places an experiencing new cultures I think it's helped me mature well an appreciate what a wonderful country we live in
Used to be traveller, but now I am a homebody. My travelling now is done from the armchair!
A traveller. Will throw on the backpack at a moments notice! Love it. Alas the cost and getting leave from work are what stop me from doing it more. Though with all that's happening in the world at the moment, I think perhaps it will get less and less for me. Maybe it's time for me to see more of Australia - the best country in the world...
I used to love travelling! How it takes so long to get through security at the airports, it's hardly work going away, so now we only fly to Melbourne to see our youngest daughter & her partner, & the 2 young grandchildren from the other daughter. Also any cruise that comes up. We used to fly to the USA to pickup many cruises, now we wait for the Sydney returns & Melbourne returns to happen! So much easier now, just to catch a 6 minute bus ride, then a train to the cruise ship! Ya!
