I have been a members of several -A tennis club was perhaps the first one I was in for years.

Then I was also in a swimming club, a bridge club (never learnt to play properly), and a few others that I can't remember!

Oh yes, Compassionate Friends of which I was treasurer but that is a club no one wants to belong to.

Yes, many clubs throughout high school and university. Still part of a few organizations and committees.
I am not a member of any clubs at the moment and I haven't been since I was a teenager. Neve find the time to join up to anything!

Used to belong to the Mustang club. It was great, there would be movies at the Belmont drive in, a trip to the past looking at everyone's pre-70's works of art. Big Al used to organise a car rally called the Poker Run and fun was had by all, and pony round ups with combined car clubs.
Used to be in a Bushwalking Club, also a Food & Wine Club. Not any more. Am still in a Military Club. Enjoy functions held at it.
I was a member of Toastmasters for several years when in my early 20's. I had such an enjoyable time with all the fantastic folk I met in this club.I had only just arrived in Nth Qld when I was asked to attend a meeting by someone who was a member. The members were aged from 18 to late 70's,both men and women. I had the best times while with this club. In my late 40's I joined the Hibiscus Society which was also a wonderful group of like-minded people of all ages and both genders.I learned so very much about these favourite plants and though I am no longer a member,I still put all that knowledge to use!!
While working I would do a lot of things to help Soroptimists International.Club of Townsviille
with fund raising, special events etc. The president always called me her Silent Member!
This is a marvellous women's group who do everything at their own expense to help those (mainly women and children)who are in genuine need. I enjoyed every little thing I did to help with their projects, but I did not wish to become a member,as I could not promise I would be able to give all the time needed for such a membership.
No. Not a joiner. I shy violently away from "Convention Mentality" as I call it. I'd like to thank my upbringing. Not.
