I'd be the latter. I have tried to watch the films, but I could never last through them very long.

I have never seen one all the way through. I like Sci Fi but have never got into SW.

I am total sci-fi geek. Whilst I prefer Stargate to Star Wars. I prefer Star Wars over Star Trek. But we own them all on DVD. Hubby is world renowned expert on all things Star Wars and loves the classic older ones, whilst I prefer the newer 3 movies. I especially like young Anakin... he was so cute.

My youngest son has the soft toys and lightsabers and figurines and he is in his 20's :D

No, not per se.
Did enjoy the first 3 movies. Saw the 'new' one with Natalie Portman, when it came out a few years' ago.
Haven't seen any beyond that. Lost interest & by reviews & what I've been told the latest 3(?) aren't nearly as good as the original's.
