Definitely NOT me in any way!!! I cannot imaging anything more uncomfortable than the Thong style leotard!!! Even back in the 80's I would never have worn this look, and Nothing could induce me to even consider it!!!
I wore something similar when I was 8 or 9 and did jazz ballet. Maybe if I was in a dance class where it was required and everybody else was wearing the same thing I'd do it again, but I'd really rather not. I work out in a moisture wicking tshirt and running pants.
U need a good body to wear this sort of gear and it puzzles me that this is the "uniform" to get into shape... I find g strings uncomfortable and pointless. Comfy clothes are more appropriate to excercise in...
Ewww! the worst of 1980s fashion! I never wore g-string leotards then, and doubt very much that I would now; unattractive and uncomfortable. I didn't like nylon (shiny) lycra either, but I still have some cotton lycra dancewear left over from the late 1990's - bodysuits and leggings. Those bodysuits are cut high on the leg, but not as high as the photo, and not g-string style. I wouldn't wear them to the gym or down the street, but I do sometimes use them for dance practice at home.
