Would you rather watch the sunrise or sunset?

This may be on the borderline of "are you a morning or evening person" type of question.

Nonetheless, I'm curious. What's your pick?

I seem to watch the sun set more....mostly because the lighting is better. I have seen sun rises, but they are so bright...maybe it is the dark to light thing (not sure)
I think a sunset is more spectacular to watch, but makes me a little wistful that another day is ending. If I could get my lazy behind out of bed, perhaps I would enjoy the wonders and happiness of a sunrise more often.
Sunrise. There is a sense of serenity about being awake before other people are. Or animals for that matter.

When it is evening there is still a lot of bustle around which can distract from the peace and beauty of a sunset.
Watching both. Tend to be a combination of a morning and evening person.
Sunset every single time.
I love a good sunset. Especially in summer, somewhere on the horizon. I agree, they are more spectacular than sunrises, but I think I prefer them because they signal a winding down from the business of the day.

Sunset, but I'll readily admit that it's more because I have a hard time getting up in the mornings than anything else. Although now I'm thinking I should set myself a quota of sunrises to see every year, just so I don't miss out completely on getting to witness such a spectacular time of day.
I love sunrise..watching the sun rise gives me a glorious feeling. Its may sound silly but every time I witness sunrise, Its like a new beginning and I some how feel energised. When I go on holiday near the ocean I make it a point to keep the curtains open so I can witness the sun rise:)
Sunset. Mostly because I don't usually get up in time to see the sunrise, especially from somewhere with a great view of it. Sunset is easier to get to and the colours in the sky after a day of pollution are spectacular (although the reason is not).
I am a nature lover. I love to see both sunrise and sunset.

I'm a total sun setting girl.
I used to live by the sea in England and I loved nothing better than sitting on the beach to watch the sun set into the sea in the evenings. When I moved to Australia I realised I have moved to the wrong side of this huge island to ever watch the sun set into the sea ever again. It made me very sad.
I have found a few places including the headland in Byron Bay but mainly in the smaller islands were if i'm lucky i can watch the optical illusion of the sun setting into the sea.
depends who you are with and what you are up to - you could end up seeing both :-)
Sunset anytime, as don't want to get up so early!

Either, but I get to see more sunsets.

Made special effort to see Sunrise at Grand Canyon, though!

Best Sunsets I've seen are:
Looking from Nile Hilton Hotel balcony, towards Pyramids, at Giza.

Looking from campsite at Cable Beach, over the water, to horizon.

Looking from campsite over Lake Menindee, to horizon.

All just magnificent! Great slides I took, too!
