I think I would rather have the rain and warmer!
We had 1.4° yesterday morning and it was HORRIBLE!
Then again during the day it only got to about 14 which was also freezing....can't feel my fingers any more.
I am so over cold weather and cannot wait for summer, so yes, would rather the rain and warmer though lately we are getting rain AND cold!
Even when the sun is out this year, all houses are freezing.
I agonised over this answer, because I REALLY hate the cold. I hae to say that I would prefer it to be sunny and cold than warm but raining. Ideally, I would prefer it to be sunny and warm. On a Queensland holiday last year, when it WASN'T the wet season, we had beautiful hot. And humid days, but it raining ffor part of the holiday, so we couldn't do anything !!! I would rather have sunny days, even if was cold, so we could go out and have some fun !!! We had already booked a couple of things so we had to go on them, despite the soaking rain. We couldn't really see from the scenic lookouts or enjoy the island hopping due to rain, but it was lovely and warm.
The cold and I are NOT friends at all!! I left Melbourne in July 1980, where it was 2 degrees, and came up to Nth Qld, where it was 23, and this was all due to my health and the effect which cold always had had on me! Although the summer humidity can be ghastly here, I still far prefer the heat even with some rain, to any form of cold, no matter how sunny!! I have solar power so when it is too hot through our summertime, I am now able to use my air conditioning at no or very minimal cost to stay very comfortable. The rest of the year here is just so picture postcard perfect that I feel truly blessed to live in such a spectacular part of the world! If I really MUST choose, I have to say warm and sunny!!
Has to be sunshine and cold weather (even though I loathe the cold) as I hate being wet even more! I think I was a cat in a previous life. Haha. I can always #dittojonaj . . . get a few rays to stand in, even if it's behind glass. I sat down on the floor (silly fool) with the dogs in their "hot spot" the other day and fell asleep. If you all could have seen me rolling around the floor trying to get up later on . . .!!!!!!!!
