I like a good mix of both. Sometimes I feel like cooking and other times I'd rather relax until after dinner and clean up. The catch is that it has to be my choice, and that's not always possible or convenient.
I much prefer to cook and leave the cleaning up...luckily my partner hates cooking and likes to clean up so it works very well in our house...and I hate cleaning up so much that even when he cooks he cleans up!! BONUS!
Simply loooooooove the picture Finy, so cute!
I think I would rather cook as I don't very often cook for anyone and in a way I miss it, creating something, instead of the healthy rather boring diet I follow (with a few treats thrown in yes I admit)
I enjoy cooking and actually do not mind the cleaning up either, as I do it as I go!!! I get SO frustrated watching someone who cooks and makes a veritable Mountain of work for themselves at the end of it all! So I would have to say that I prefer to do the creative cooking, and let someone else do the small amount of cleaning up which I leave at the end of it all.
Mainly I prefer someone else (my husband usually) cooking the evening meal, giving me a bit of down time to shower or get on my computer before dinner, and I clean up afterwards. He likes it the other way around. When I do cook during the day I usually have to clean it up as well.
Yes Kabhi, you certainly have to keep an eye on what they are doing. You don't want to pull out the pots and pans for the next meal cook up, and find there is already enough oil or grease on them to cook the meal.
