Do you prefer to be called by your first name, or would you rather acquaintances and strangers called you with a title, which is more formal?

I do not like being called "Mrs" -I feel old when people say that, even stranger -I prefer to be called by my first name in all situations.

I find Mrs or whatever just too formal and reminds me of when I was a kid and everyone had to be Mr or Mrs.

It all depends.
If it is said with a respectful voice, then it is ok.
I had one young man phone me up...and this guy was very rude.
So that call got cut off real quick!

First name would be okay .
Always, absolutely ALWAYS, my first name!!! I am divorces so I am not a Mrs any more, and I am also not a Miss!! I hate the use of Ms as it is neither this nor that to me!!! Even when I was married I still liked being introduced using my first name.It is who I am!!!
My first name..for sure for sure..

I find being addressed by my first name very personal, and intrusive and presumptuous if it is being done by a stranger.
I really liked being addressed as "Madame" (say it with a French accent!) when I lived in Belgium and was sorry to move to Germany where I became "Frau" which just sounds frumpy to me. Back home in England now, practically no-one calls me Mrs, so I have to squirm or interrupt when they address me by my name.
do not like being called by my first name by business people far to familiar . I usually am very short with them when this happens.
Depends.
In business, preferred my first name.

Don't like 'strangers' assuming they can call me by my first name! They get a verbal 'face palm' if they do!
