I'm not sure there is much hype about WRAP week in Australia. Collective Shout has a number of petitions and campaigns going to address the sexual objectification in media. Apart from participating in those and wearing a white ribbon, I'm not sure how else I'll get involved this year. Having said that, I think it's a great cause.
I am going to look into it, I think it is something that is unhealthy, and gripping people in a lot of walks-of-life.
I have done studies when at college about how it has become a virus! in 2005....so who know's what it's like now.
I also know from what we were taught that it ruins lives big time, so yes I will be giving it some attention.
The more people realize how unhealthy it is, they have half a chance to stop.
Great question! I will be! Im surprised that this question was published. A lot of people ignore this massive problem we have. I think if you're not for it you're against it, its that simple. There are so many sexual deviants out there because of porn, monkey see monkey do.
annfi, I don't know if they will be readily available because WRAP Week doesn't seem to be a big deal here in Aus. So I just bought some white ribbon from my local junk shop and will cut it up and give them to family and friends who want to participate. ;-)
