I think Ellen is great. She always helps so many people who have hit hard times, has a passion for helping animals, and does a great job introducing new performers/singers which have been brought to her attention through You Tube etc. She comes across as a genuinely lovely person.
Ellen D....100% ;)
I loved Oprah and when she announced the end of her talk show, I was quite saddened. At the moment, I enjoy Ellen (she is too cool) and I also like Q&A and Insight. I watch The View and The Project as well.
Maybe we need a new one because there is only Ellen, who is great, but there's hardly any competition.
I would have to say Ellen because she down to earth.
I don't have a particular favourite, but I do like the BBC 1 presenters on The One Show. There have been various ones, including Christine Bleakley, Adrian Chiles, Matt Baker, and Alex Jones.
When you say Alex Jones
do you mean of 'Prison Planet'?

No, this is someone, different. She is a Welsh TV presenter for the BBC.

Another Ellen fan here!
I use to always watch Oprah.
Now I'm not all that fussed with who they have on.......she use to be able to get the cream of the crop.
It is a little difficult to get really into it now, after all she had been doing it a long long time.
Even though she is no longer, I'd have to say Oprah. Not sure if Dr Phil is still a talk show host? Sorry am so out of touch with the TV world.
I used to love watching Oprah and Dr Phil, but now Ellen is my favourite.
I loved Oprah. Ellen is fun to watch now, but I don't watch her show anywhere near as much as I did Oprah's. She was a one of a kind I'm afraid.

Used to like Michael Parkinson. In theory Oprah, but I never watched her show. I just thought her heart was in the right place. I guess Graham Norton?
Not sure. I used to like The View but they have lost touch of late.

I used to love Oprah Winfrey mainly because she often had very interesting guests, however probably my all time favourite for some reason is the late Don Lane -I thought he was cute even though the show was not always brilliant!

john stewart, jenny brockie, stan grant
If subject interests me, I'll watch 'Insight'.

Best talk show hosts are Sir Michael Parkinson, & the brilliant, late Sir David Frost, both BBC.

No, as don't know how to operate. Really hate technology, & only use it when I have to.
It REALLY has no interest for me, so other than very minute abilities, like send an email, I'm lost. Don't even know how to text on my old mobile. No loss, for me, actually!
My favourite as a kid was the don lane show
Dr Phil! Yes heís still on TV in Sydney (NSW) anyway, and usually at mid-day, but sometimes he hasn'tí come on until 12.30, but thatís the channels fault, not his!!!
