Is there a striking resemblance in your family? Do your children look like you, your partner or someone else? Or do they have a completely unique look?

Each of my sons are very different, in looks and size.
Two had the same father, and the third from my second marriage.
The first 2 look completely different you could never tell they were brothers.
People don't believe me, they are all mine.
My eldest daughter and son are polar opposites, she is short, and he is very tall and thin. People always think they are boyfriend and girlfriend rather than siblings! However my daughter and youngest son look alike.
It sure is amazing how it can happen.

My children all resemble their mom. They have some of my features: Ears, toes and nose. Other than that, they have my wife's physical features, right down to the location of the creases on their little bodies.
I think my son is still too young to look very much like me or my husband, but, whenever we are out as family, everybody says he looks just like his dad.

I have cousins from one uncle who all look alike - like their dad, bar one, who looks like her mum. You can just imagine the jokes.

My son looks nothing like either myself or my husband but does bear a striking resemblance to my father, not just in looks but in personality and proclivities too. I find this very pleasing as my dad is a lovely gent :)
Our daughter looked like me and my sister as a baby, but now looks very much like my partners sisters. Our son looks like a mini Dave! We're going to keep having kids until we get one that looks just like me!
My daughter is 'me', & son, his father!
When our son was born, he had beautiful 'reddish' curls, the same colour my maternal Grandfather had! But his hair went brown as he got older, same colour as his father's.

It's amazing how 'genes' work. Have friends' whose both sons' have their father's timbre in their voice! It's really difficult to tell apart, if get either them on the phone!
