Living in Western Australia for many years now, I have often been to the Margaret River wine regions and I love it there.

It has faulous shops as well as delightful wineries to eat at -though terribly expensive now.

I do not drink so I am handy as a driver.

I have also been to some near Mandurah where I lived for 10 years, as well as the Hunter Valley region which is beautiful.

Also Adelaide however my favourite is Margaret River where there is so much to do.

No, sorry, I've nothing of worth to contribute to this conversation. Truthfully, I am here for the Karma Points. I do enjoy wine, but am very picky - there are very few I like, so I don't think this is something I would enjoy very much.

I go for the food Vee! But the areas they are in are usually lovely and interesting.

Yes. If there is food, then I am there!

I don't think I have?
But then again I no longer drink.
Maybe I will have a look at one next year, just for a few days out.

We used to go to Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley when we were in NSW and I have travelled through the Barrossa valley and other SA wine areas many, many times. There are some fabulous wineries now up un North Queensland which are simply gorgeous,as the wines are made from rare tropical fruits!
Not many.
The Barossa, The Yarra Valley, Great Western. Not a wine drinker really, but my husband is a huge fan.
The Hunter Valley, Barrossa Valley, the Adelaide Hills, the Yarra Valley and Mclaren Vale region.
I have visited the Hunter Valley, Yarra Valley & Brown Bros [Vic] and the Barossa Valley and McLaren Valley. I love tasting the fortifieds best.
Barossa Valley in South Australia,
Griffith in New south wales
Mudgee in New south wales
various small wineries in New south wales and Victoria.
funnily enough I have never visited the Hunter Valley in New South Wales. as I live in NSW
Ah, the beautiful Barossa Valley! Is it not THE best?
But I'm happy to partake of the vines of other regions, without predjudice!
OUR wines from wherever, are just superb! We're so lucky in this country & they're at reasonable prices! Salut!
P.S. Have been to also Margaret River, Clare Valley, Stanthorpe, & Roma.
Still have a 'Romavilla' 1974 Red. Bought 4 bottles in 1976. So far, have all been beautiful to drink!

I have visited the Barossa and clare valley, also Mclarenvale, the Coorong, and Kingston wineriesI think thats all.
I haven't been to Margaret River as yet but I do purchase a lot of wine from that region. I have been to The Barossa and other regions around there. Also Victoria and a lot in NSW. Mudgee has some interesting wines and Orange but I don't like organic wines. Cobbity is a good area to take a leisurely drive to and taste Cogno Bros. wines. They did a lovely Cabernet Franc many years ago as well as Camden Gold. But the regions where I go to most are The Hunter and Upper Hunter Valley. We stay for a week, eat, drink and enjoy the quietness of the area. I also belong to several wine clubs so have my standard orders delivered quarterly to home to keep me going between visits.
I've only been to the Hunter Valley for a week-end with my husband, youngest daughter & her then partner. We had a most enjoyable week-end. I rearly drink red or white wine, so I was hoping they'd be handing out champagne to me instead, & I'd be hoping for cheese & crackers as well. I can't remember going to any other wineries.
