I use ordinary white vinegar for cleaning and washing towels -mirrors etc though I do not like the smell it leaves.
I also use this in cooking and in salads I mainly use the darker balsamic.

I also use rice wine viegar and another red wine vinegar occasionally, plus mirin in Asian cooking.

I have a delicious raspberry vinegar that is just right for salad dressings, otherwise white wine vinegar is good for salads. For cooking with, well it would depend on the recipe but usually either cider vinegar or balsamic.
Balsamic for salad.
Brown vinegar, one of my ingredients for Corned Meat in Pressure Cooker.
I do the same as Finy, white vinegar for cleaning and cooking and balsamic in salads.
White vinegar for taking away smells...brilliant but Balsamic in salads, unless I make a French dressing with white vinegar, oil, S+P and whatever else eg garlic

I use balsamic and malt vinegars for anything edible,and White vinegar for cleaning. I have always enjoyed marinating my olives in Balsamic vinegar myself,rather than paying the huge prices which the Deli's charge for these.
I don't use any vinegar.

I use garlic oil only....and it is lovely!

I like using balsamic and white. If I have time I will use the white to make herbed vinegars.

White for cleaning. Cider for hair. Balsamic or cider for salads etc. Brown (malt) in my silverside pot.

None on my salads, as I already have salad dressings. I do have apple vinegar & another other vinegar in the cupboard, as well as white & brown vinegars, but I hardly ever use them.
