Bicycles are great Christmas presents and can keep someone entertained for days throughout the year. Where do you buy your bicycles, and why?

I think that buying from an outlet is a good choice. Besides, you should get someone with experience to go with you if it's your first bicycle.
I have to admit, I have bought a bicycle from a commercial store and then regretted it because I ended up paying more for it to have the brakes fix. Now I prefer to go to a cycling retail outlet that offers me warranties and ensures safe cycling travels.
Haven't needed to. I either borrow a bicycle from a friend, or hire one. If anyone knows of a good bicycle shop in Sydney - let me know.
Oxley Cycles in Brisbane - BMX specialists but has all bikes in stock. Check out website at oxleycycles.com or contact "The Don" for any information you may need.

My parents' bought me an 'Ashby' two-wheeler bike when I was 8yo! It cost 28.10s, which was VERY expensive in late '50's!

I loved my bike, & rode it every afternoon after School, with other neighbourhood kids. We had fun!

Like everything I owned, toys, books' etc, it was given to my nieces' & nephews' &, of course, they never looked after it like I did.

It now sits rusted & forlorn, under their house! Next time I go there, I'll 'rescue' it & try & clean it up a bit!
