Do you eat at restaurants that serve alcohol or allow BYO? If it's a BYO do you take alcohol or just have water or something else?

I used to but I've gone off wine a bit. It seems to not agre with me any more. That might be a menopausal thing.
Yes of course I would have a glass or two of wine, I enjoy it so why not .Life is too short to deny yourself of some of it's pleasures. Strega
I probably wouldn't have wine with my meal. I would most likely have a glass of water or maybe a mocktail.
I don't like wine, and rarely drink alcohol at all. If I ever do have anything, it will be a cocktail or a Bailey's, but usually I just have water or a non-alcholic cocktail.
I haven't been to a BYO restaurant since I was a student! All the ones we go to now tend to have an extensive (and expensive) wine list. My husband enjoys trying vintages he's not had before and will spend a fairly long time chatting with the sommelier before ordering.
I don't drink any alcohol so it doesn't make a jot of difference to me.... I like to have a fruit juice or tonic water as an aperitif then plain water with my meal. Afterwards, I will green tea or peppermint infusion as a digestif.
If it's just me and my husband, I like to have a glass of wine. That doesn't happen very often right now! If our kids are with us, I usually have water. So, I usually have water.
That's my tipple when eating out

Don't mind a glass of something "sweet" to drink, and will have one if dining for awhile and none if driving....
My husband and I don't drink alcohol. I'm happy with lemonade; my husband enjoys a coke. I don't feel that alcohol makes or breaks the meal; if the people at the table enjoy the meal, the chosen drink and the company then it's always a memorable time.
Yes, it cleanses the palate between dishes
To have an enjoyable glass of good quality wine at home or out, with Dinner, is one of life's little pleasures!
It doesn't have to be 'Grange' (oh, drool!), but there're many excellent Oz wines to be had. Really can't go past any of 'The Australian' Dozens, at anytime! Love 'Reds', but a nice Crouchen Reisling hits the spot, too! Don't like the 'drier' varieties of 'whites' at all. Cheers!
I love my wine but if I'm driving I rarely have a glass with dinner. It's usually mineral water with a dash of lime.
If we're with family, we taken a bottle of red.If it's just the 2 of us, my husband will have beer, & I'll have water or a G&T occasionally. If it's our wedding anniversary, I'll order a cocktail! The most unusual 1 they make!

My husband and I do not drink alcohol, so, when we do eat out, we will have a glass of water and coffee.
