When flying, do you web check in, or kiosk check in?

Kiosk Check in - author's photo

These days there are many ways to "check in" for your flight. Do you check in online before hand, or do you still go to the manual check in counter?

Do you find the web/mobile check in convenient and user friendly, or is it a little tricky to work out which buttons to press?

i like to check in at the counter, it feels more secure.
I Always go to the Desk check in.

I feel I trust it more, and I can ask questions....which has proven very valuable many times over.
?? why two answers ..lol

I prefer a web check in, so that I can get to the airport later.
And it's very convenient and easy to follow (instructions-wise).

I recently chose web check in, but found the process rather frustrating and fiddly. It was time saving in a way, but also a little stressful for someone not very technologically minded.

Web check-in, so much better than lining up at the airport!
I prefer web check-in. The lines are too long when waiting for a real person. I often find web interfaces easy to navigate and less stressful than the line.

Always web check in. Takes too long - and to be honest I've just never done it any other way.
Web check-in. It's faster so I can sleep longer.
I didnt think there was a choice anymore in Perth.
I hate them as I dont fly often anymore and I dont know how to use them, so get embarrassed standing there not having a clue what to do.

So I would mostly go to the desk to check in for fear of looking stupid at the automatic machines.
