Coconut, olive oil, or butter.
We use a lot of olive oil, but one that's really nice which we never buy because it's expensive is avocado oil. Mushrooms cooked in avocado oil are soooo yummy.
We have many different kinds of oils and I use whichever one is best for the type of cooking I am doing and the food that is being cooked. Olive, sunflower, walnut, avocado, coconut, butter, sesame.... they all have different tastes and properties, which lead to different uses!
I avoid using oil whenever possible - which is 99% of the time. I therefore don't bother looking out for my particular preference and use whatever is in the cupboard at the time, which is usually extra virgin olive oil. If I were to choose, then I would probably go for walnut oil.
Just olive oil I have found the best, but I also use it in spray form.
Quite brilliant may I say.
I wouldn't mind trying the Avo oil.
Extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil or butter in my house.
I mostly use Rice Bran Oil.

I did a cooking course once with an organisation who recommended this oil -it has a higher degree before it will burn and is healthy, and have used it mostly for cooking ever since.

Sometimes I will use Extra virgin olive oil, however mostly not.

I also use German non stick pans which need very little oil anyway and you can use them on high heat and use metal spoons etc with them, unlike the other brands.

What's the brand called, Finy?

there is only one brand here -Alfa I think it is.

Canola Oil for Roasting, Frying. Ghee for pancakes. 'Supafry' for Deep Frying, but don't do that too often these days!

Don't use EVOO that often & when I do, very sparingly, as it can make me nauseous.
