Christmas Music

I tend to drive my family nuts at Christmas time, digging out the Christmas CDs and playing them over and over until they beg me to stop. It might be just me, but I think it helps to set the mood and jolly things up a bit. I play a pretty wide selection too - Classical Music from works like "The Nutcracker" right through to the "Muppets Christmas CD". What's your favourite music to play?

It's a family tradition to put on our old Bucko and Champs Aussie Christmas CD. It's full of Christmas songs with an Australian twist and it doesn't feel like Christmas without it, even if many of the songs aren't that great.
The soundtrack of the Muppet Christmas Carol is fun. I also like a bit of Sinatra singing carols, the Vandals' Oi To The World and maybe an old fashioned children's choir singing.
I like to listen to Bing Crosby and some celtic Christmas songs where it is just music and very little singing!
Those carols CD's you can buy at department stores - family love them.
I love them too. Some of the choirs are really top shelf too - Coventry etc.

I have two favourite Christmas songs "Do they know it's Christmas?" by Band-Aid and "Last Christmas" by George Michael.
Bruce Springsteen's - Santa Clause is coming to town - is always the one that just makes the stressful season a little more jolly!
All of Mariah Carey's Christmas carol songs!
Michael Buble's Christmas album is lovely.
It's an old LP record put out by the Olympic Rubber Company over 50 years ago. I was very fortunate to find editions one and two at St Vinnies. They bring back great childhood memories of Christmas. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir are one group of featured artists.
being from Ireland has to be The Pogues. Fairy tale in New York. That makes my christmas
Not a fan of Xmas music at all.
So if playing a CD, it'll be my usual music, which I do enjoy.
