How did it work out

It was a very very cheep house, I asked the Real Estate guy is it liveable...and
he lied?
But with hard work, it was a total bargain.
I was very happy....I knew if I didn't put money on it, another would not come along at that price....I was dead right, had to take the chance.

I'm not generally a risk taker myself but I think one the greatest risks I've taken in recent time was to purchase a second hand car without having my mechanic testing it first. That car gave me hell afterwards.

You got yourself a lemon

I'm not sure to be honest. I don't really take risks.
Yeah, not a big risk taker. Getting married, maybe?!
My biggest risk was biggest gain. I moved across Canada, almost on a whim, for a three month contract job. The job fell through, but I stayed anyway. Meeting the woman who would alter become my wife was a major point of the trip. I lost the job but got the girl.Big risk, big reward.
I think risk is a very personal thing. For example I gave birth at home, unattended by any professionals. That didn't strike me as a risk, but I know other people would view that as a giant risk.

I moved state, having lived in Sydney my whole life. That seemed risky to me. It turns out that the two things I list here are the best things I've ever done!
I made a blind investment in starting a business that I knew nothing about. The result a failed business.
