Oh Gosh!!! You DO make me laugh!!! It unfortunately does not work this way,but it IS good that you ate the healthy stuff too!!! I love to dip my strawberries in Nutella,so I used to kid myself that this was two items which were nutritious!! Hee Hee,but let's get real,eh?!!! The Nutella is way to full of fattening stuff to be truly nutritious,no matter what all the ads tell us!!!
Aaaah!! We can but dream!!!!
I stir fried a few vegies with my breakfast - mushroom, onion and bok choy and some tomato. At lunch I had leftover vegetable curry (It was actually a chicken & vegetable curry...but there was no chicken left in it!!) which had: onion, mushroom, pumpkin, carrot, broccoli, bok choy and peas. Afternoon tea I had a couple of strawberries. Dinner was left over beef and vegetable casserole. I tend to eat more vegies than fruit even though I love fruit!
I don't normally have that many. It was just that I had the leftovers for lunch. Normally I would just have plain gluten free pasta and cheese. And I don't often have the stir fry vegies with my breakfast - just the tomato with my bacon and eggs. Yesterday was a just a great vegie day!
I adore both Fruit and Vegies, and could happily live on them,as long as I also had cheese!
Yesterday I had.... strawberries,lady-finger bananas, grapes, more strawberries, blueberries, apple,passion-fruit,mango(yes!! our stupid tree thinks it is summer already and has been giving fruit for weeks now!!)orange, mandarin. cherry tomatoes from my garden!Oh,and did I tell you I had some MORE strawberries? Hee Hee!! I could truly live on them!!
In the vegie dept... Can I mention all my fresh herbs for starters? Then there was avocado, cucumber, salad vegies, corn, peas, carrot, and I know there were others but they have slipped my mind. I am not a big meat eater at all.
Broccoli, carrot, capsicum, onion, mushroom, in a veggie stirfry. Also had grapes, banana, blueberries, prunes, strawberries and dates all mixed up in a bowl. I'm not that good every day, just used what was in the fridge yesterday.
Banana, passionfruit, tangelo, kiwi fruit; cranberries, sultanas and blueberries in my cereal, tomato, potato (food of the Gods!) and a lettuce, tomato and cucumber salad. Will often eat more than this, but this is what I had yesterday! Could not get through the day without fruit.
I slept most of yesterday, because I wasn't feeling at all well, but I did get up & make myself some breakfast with pawpaw, sultanas, & currents.then I woke up for dinner & made us an omelet on toast with garlic, mushrooms, & zucchini, then after that, we had 1/2 an orange each.
