I could always say THE RIGHT SHAPE however if I said that I would be lying. And that would create another question (do you ever lie!).
I believe I am a bit pear shaped, or perhaps since i crushed a vertebrae in my back, I could be called S shape -not a pretty sight!
However when dressed, I look slim and a good perhaps as you put it, lean column shape
Voluptuous hourglass. I do take my shape into consideration, especially since breastfeeding has made me a lot bigger than I used to be, so I make sure I have tops which are a bit more conservative than I used to need to wear.
I'm pear shaped and I do consciously keep an eye out for lower-bottom slimming cuts. I have difficulty finding pants that do not amplify the size of my thighs, although jeans are an easier and more pleasant-looking option.
I'm a pear shape which apparently is the most healthy shape to be. and yes I do shop for my shape. along with a long body its best to find A line dresses or jeans with straight legs and longish tops to make you feel great. dressing for your shape is just like picking the colours that suit you best so a good thing to understand and why. it is why the people in the limelight of the world always look good. not because they have the perfect body but because they have assistance to choose clothes that best suit their body shape
Broad shoulders, normal waist, no hips or bum, small bust, & tall.
Don't think that would 'conform' to any so-called shape.
I've learned to live with it. But broad shoulders cause problems when seated in train or at the Theatre!
