Being out on the open road
The Sun.

Always has and always will.
Nature makes me feel alive. I love the feeling of a gentle breeze, the smell of flowers, the smell of rain on the hot earth in summer, the sound of rain on a tin roof, looking at flowers and birds. I love going for a walk by the river or the beach.
Going for a walk on a sunny, clear day.
Nature walks. I can just go at a slow pace, talk and think without any disturbance.

Travel and discovering something new makes me feel alive.

I love the excitement of going somewhere (even if I've been there before) as there is always something new to discover. Even better is experiencing this with someone you love and loves travelling as much as I do.

Air travel, car travel, train or ferry, I love travel and feeling all my senses awaken.
Horse-riding or swimming.
The former through a forest, & the latter, in a creek, surrounded by bush & scrub.

Just love either!
God and His creations - a beautiful sunrise, taking photos in the rain, fog, mist, one flight takeoff where I was virtually looking down on the moon in the early hours of the morning, the ocean, lightning and thunder, a vivid sunset, a rainbow (even better, a double rainbow). If you don't notice these wonderful events, stop and look. They're free and they'll make you feel alive.
Swimming in the ocean or in a fresh clear mountain stream.
A walk along the beach with the waves crashing over rocks exploring rock pools when my children were young . I still love trip to the sea once a year

A day that has no humidity, is cool enough to allow me to enjoy the garden, do plenty of work inside and out, eat a meal, have a good nights sleep.
I think it's the sky, whether day or night. I look up and I see clouds, impossibly blue sky, velvet night sky with shimmering stars and the moon . . . it somehow makes me feel a part of something ageless.

I'm there. I love looking at big fluffy clouds with the sun behind them - if that makes sense.
