Well there are two routines. One for the week and one for the weekend. The week one is basically prepping for the day. Not so much rushed, but getting things in order. The weekend is much slower. Late sleep in, late breakfast and when I am ready I will get going with what i want to do for the weekend.
I try to get both eyes open within a reasonable time frame. It seems to be getting harder, as every year passes!
I wake before 7:30 am most days, and turn on the hot water, turn off the bathroom light, and have a glass of water, turn on the computer.
I just can't help myself, I get on first thing in the morning...before B/Fast.
I like to try and wake up my mind. One hour later!#*?#!* I think, I am slowly awake.
Then it is on to the day at hand, which can have a huge amount of work and challenges, but I call the times each things needs to be addressed....I am most blessed like that.
There are days when it can get too much, but we just keep going don't we lol.
I usually start my morning with a coffee around 6am, check my emails then make breakfast and get junior ready for school. During the holidays I still get up early, have my coffee and then plan an adventure for the day. I usually manage to squeeze a couple of hours of work before we head out the door.
Mine has become get up early and write, load tweets onto buffer and have 2 cups of coffee. Then with the kids get up it's the breakfast/make lunches/school routine. I hate the early mornings but I do love my quiet writing time...
I pretend to be asleep while my husband responds to the dog's barking at 5 am. He then takes off on an hour's walk while I doze back to sleep again. 7am wakeup for me. He already has the fruit salad brekky ready by the time I emerge.
