There's a recipe I make every Christmas morning that is a baked french toast and if you serve that with cinnamon butter or maple syrup and berries it's heavenly. You prepare all of it the night before, so literally once we start doing the presents, I pop the dish in the oven, and then breakfast is served 40 minutes later. It's probably very naughty for you, but as a once a year treat, it's delicious.
If I'm out for breakfast with my other 1/2 at the cafe, near where we live, I share an Eggs Benedict, or a waffle with frozen mixed berries, ice-cream & maple syrup, if I'm with a girl friend. But I don't share that! If I'm at home I have 3 wheat-bix with diced dried fruits & nuts, & fresh fruits, plain Greek yogurt, fruit juice, with a sprinkle of chai seeds on top! 1/2 an hour later, I'll have a coffee (using a pod!) & a slice of toast with Vegemite!
