A broken little toe, on my left leg.I ran in from outside, and it hit a metal object!
My husband told me it wasn't broken, and told me to just wiggle it!
I tried, and screamed in pain.
He wouldn't take me to the doctor, so I had to drive my self.
Well he is now my ex husband....and yes that was just one of a lot of problems we had.....He just did not believe me, I was in a great deal of pain....Once I ripped open my arm, of a sharp tree....blood everywhere, he looked at it walked away...no help nothing?....(nice guy).
Oh jonaj, how could someone, who supposedly
loved you, be so 'cold' & uncaring?
Heavens, so many people have to put up with such c@&$ from another human being!
Sorry I can't reach through ITablet & just give you a hug, from one person to another, who's suffered/suffering pain!
I broke my coccyx when I was 18. I was in AGONY for weeeeeeeks and a friend had to come and stay and look after me because I literally couldn't move without severe pain. Thank goodness that was before children! I can't imagine how I would have cared for them with such a busted bum. I still have a huge lump on it from where it bent out of shape but interestingly enough, when I had my third baby I felt it crack, and it went back into position. My fourth and fifth births were much easier than the previous ones once the bone had moved.
Yes, jonaj, Looking back at it, was a very funny (ha ha!) situation. I was at a Fete at a small Hospital. There were Pony Rides. I was helping a little child on Pony, when some 'Tom Thumbs' were thrown, it was 'Cracker Night', horse got a fright & I fell, left hand out, & snapped both bones. It was a doozy of a break!
Had to be taken to Mater Hospital, as it had X-Ray machine large enough to deal with the 'breaks'. I spent six weeks' in plaster from finger tips to elbow joint! I was 11 at the time!
